Art Toronto 2026

At Art Toronto 2026, Schlieder Contemporary presents a sophisticated selection of European contemporary art shaped by nature, light, perception, and material transformation.

Dutch artist Hilde Trip creates delicate compositions from preserved natural materials, reflecting on beauty, transience, and the fragility of the natural world. German light artist Hans Kotter transforms colour, reflection, and space into immersive visual experiences that shift with the viewer’s perspective.

John Franzen presents his golden breath engravings alongside mirror installations from his Creation is Destruction series, combining precision, repetition, and reflection. Gregor Kalus’s atmospheric ink works investigate memory, uncertainty, and the instability of the image.
